Yes, even with my previous post, I admit that was inexperienced 17 year old me (half a lifetime ago) probably being impatient, and hanging out with “good ol’ boys” and their 80s Chevy C10s who did the same thing that influenced that decision.

AND they’re trash. I rebuilt the one in the Camaro I had back in high school a couple times, could never get it tuned right.
