I really don’t get that. I mean, the Patriots suck, but...why are you rooting against an American company that’s building the first truly innovative cars in 50 years? And why does it make you happy to see them fail?

The irrational hatred of Tesla is one of those things I find deeply puzzling. There are perfectly

Hey, guess what, cars are also not a necessity.

Every law in every state says that bikes have as much right to car travel lanes as cars when there aren’t bike lanes, and most laws prohibit biking on sidewalks.

They calculated it on a driving cycle, not WOT. I can drive my boosted car at regular human speeds without impeding traffic, and keeping the turbo at idle.

TRD to the rescue!

Every time I read this I want to puke a little.

It had me until the miles. I know Hyundai has come a long way since the ’80s, but I don’t know how they are when they hit the mileage stratosphere. This is a bit above drive-it-til-it-breaks money; not sure I’d want to gamble.

If it makes you feel any better, here’s my 277k-mile AE86 Corolla GT-S still running it’s never-overhauled 4AGE.

I can’t fathom being in possession of a car such as this and not driving it. I constantly have the urge to go for a drive, and I don’t even have anything all that special. Walking past this in my garage everyday for 25 years and just smiling and moving on would be a physical impossibility for me.

I guess you are content with only owning one car ever.

Vape bros? I think you’re confusing NA vs Turbo owners. I am talking regular Impreza

I like all the questions of “why do you even need this?” as if I actually care about the bronco or the wrangler and wasn’t just setting that up for “the ford giveth, the ford taketh away”.

The side mirrors will be attached to the front pillars so they remain in place when the doors are taken off, unlike the Jeep Wrangler

IMS refit is like 5-6k...if the rest of that car checks out that would be a steal. But given the type of dealer, it is currently at...I dunno about that

Damn, 996s must be at a bottom.  How to convince the wife this is a good 3rd car, hmm...that Elsinore one isn’t far away.  IMS refit is what, $3k?

The difference between the ACR and the other Neon models were not quite as vast as legend has it. I used to own a 98 Plymouth Neon ACR, and yes, it came from the factory with Konis stock (adjustable rebound). Beyond that, the only other factory mods were of the Colin Chapman variety - No rear window defrost, manual

Hertz: I know what I have.

It won’t crush anything. They do that so the headrest follows the trajectory of your head in an accident, and catches it when your neck snaps back to mitigate whiplash. It makes wearing a helmet a pain in the ass though.

Yes, we could, and we’ve had those versions. They’re known as Mini Coopers and they’re fun to drive. Therefore, we don’t need a sedan version now with the roundel on it. The 2-series was / is the best vehicle in BMWs line-up, IF you’re a petrolhead. Otherwise, you’d be just as happy with a FWD sedan from BMW as the
