In fairness, their MSRP lines up with the other midsize luxury V6 wagon, the Mercedes E400. It’s just that Mercedes has a fairly dedicated audience for that car and Jaguar does not.

That’s quite literally why Land Rover exists.
718 sales are already down, which is hugely uncharacteristic of a new sports car. The 4-cylinder is 100% to blame.
Ehhh, I kinda wonder if a lot of that is due to the B58 never being attached to a manual. I’m sure people could (and eventually will) get it to work. But in the mean time, this may be the quickest/easiest way to clutch kicks, which, in top level drifting is ABSOLUTELY essential to the craft.
It looks so... bored. Not boring, but just bored. Like, you could be huckin’ that thing through some twisties and the face on that car will never stop looking totally disinterested.
I'll lick my driveway if this has a manual.
SHAWD PAWS MIAO MIAO or something along those lines...
Wasn’t the 3.5RL the Legend replacement? And then the RL? And then the facelifted RL? And then the RLX? And now the Sport Hybrid RLX?
continues to be FWD
So if I’m reading correctly, the hot take from this article is “It’s ok to buy a high mileage car if it’s meticulously maintained”. Astonishing
Ulgh. Mazda. You are one of the few manufacturers left who can make a good looking car. That cladding is way out of character. Bleh.
I sold my 2000 TT 180hp quattro at 405,000km (251,000mi). It was starting to have odd failures.. things like rusted out power steering lines. But most other issues were common and easy to fix. Helps that it was mostly a MK4 golf underneath. The kid I sold it to promptly got nailed at 180km/h (racing in Ontario) so I’m…
I drove one locally last year that had foot-long holes in both rockers and an asking price of nearly 3k. So logically I passed on that and bought a 30 year old BMW with a quarter mil on the odometer, because I am an idiot.
No Civic Si?
Both these are great if you also ignore all of his other requirements.
We had a 2009 Honda Fit (manual). Put about 80,000 miles on it from new. I was constantly disappointed with its MPG. It’s so low-powered and under-geared, on the highways it got maybe 32 on long trips. And if you had a head wind or cross wind, it danced all over the highway. They later added a 6th gear...at the same…
As someone who also drives 80 miles a day, trust me when I say 2012-2017 Buick Regal GS. You can get some of the earlier years within your budget. They have good power and are comfortable to drive. I generally get 28-31mpg depending on the time of year (winter vs Summer blend) and it still has enough power to be fun.…
I did, actually! I could lift one end of it pretty easily.
