There’s a conversation in “Roadwork” by Richard Bachman/Stephen King where a mobster is claiming almost exactly this: anyone I’ve killed has to get into heaven, since I’ve taken away their chance to repent for their sins. Interesting exchange in a Stephen King novel... maybe not so hot as a general guiding philosophy.
