So you’re not going to account for the time, labor, and money that went into building this project and just declare that it’s too expensive because it has an old core mechanic? that’s absurd.

I know it’s not the same game, but having read your review, it seems like it’s enough of the same game (same basic gameplay with additions that complicate the gameplay, rather than fundamentally new game mechanics) that it should be cheaper, disregarding the VR.
I agree to some point, the beginning especially is very very boring. The biggest problem I’m having is all of the cases where they hold your hand (let me run, please) and restrict things which makes it not fun to play. I feel like they don’t know how to get players to do what they want without forcing them to.
I cannot tell you how many times I’ve crashed my horse because I fell asleep playing RDR2.
It’s not that RDR2 is a boring game. It’s a slow one, sure. But I am old. And that is my only excuse now.
I think it’s a little ridiculous to knock Overwatch’s diversity. They have really gone out of their way to include a broad spectrum of cultures, and they continue to produce heroes that were obviously designed with inclusivity in mind. They even made the game’s mascot (Tracer) a lesbian, backing up the statement that…
Yeah, but not the RIGHT KIND of diverse...
Anyone who thinks this is a problem is a true moron. Overwatch’s heroes are pretty damned diverse.
*AH-COO* *sniff* ...Please excuse me...
“They made a hamster and a second cowboy before they made a black woman. It just feels like we’re not a priority, and while I can’t tell them what to do, I feel like they’re under-serving a part of their fanbase that clearly wants to throw money at them.”
Okay, but like...Pharah and Anna don’t count? Is it because they are Egyptian, not African-American “black”? By all means, I’m all for more black folk in the game, but this does bug me a bit.
no u are
There’s a reason Bayek of Siwa gets to pet cats. There is a requirement of excellent character to get to pet cats that most video game protagonists simply don’t have.
My heart grew three sizes today.
if you crouch down next to them bayek will eventually start petting them.
You could pet them! It just did it automatically.
Sure, Arthur’s pretty cool, but he’s no Travis Touchdown.
Im here live in attendance in Providence and everyone around me were at first not sure if it was real or part of the show. But we all quickly realized it would be really fucked up of wwe to have a work about cancer, and thats when the boos quickly turned to cheers. Everyone was shocked. Some in tears.
oooooof
This sucks but at least John Cena will grant a wish for him.
I’m one of those chubby IWC neckbeards who rides the Roman Reigns Is Lame train like there’s no tomorrow, but I can definitely parse performer (and booking) from actual person, and this is stunning and legit upsetting. Dude is only one year older than me, and shouldn’t be fighting this kind of shit, and for another…
