Who would have thought two years later, NMS would actually become a really, really good game?  I’m so impressed by how Hello Games has turned their ship around.  

On a related note, that also cancels any plans I had on purchasing the game.

I’m not sure how far into the game you are, but there are plenty of missions that require melee combat, sometimes multiple times. There have been some in really cool set pieces, but every time it plays horribly.

RDR2 is a gruesomely boring game, with arguably the worst melee combat I’ve ever seen in a AAA title.

What a bummer.  Dead Rising 2: Off the Record is such a spectacular game that really nailed what that franchise could do to stand out.  Unfortunately they completely lost what made DR special by the time DR4 came out.
