I agree mostly with all you’ve said. These aren’t problems. These are tiny blips that will affect a very small minority of people in order to satisfy a huge need to have SOME sort of refund policy in-line with the consumer rights you have over most physical goods.

I’ve always thought that ContentID was still an issue with YouTube streaming. Their TOS state that if you’re visual or audio ID’d in a stream that you’d be told to cease broadcasting the copyrighted material immediately, else have YouTube automatically interrupt and revoke your Streaming privileges.

I think this is disgusting. To know that we live in a time and a society where it’s perfectly fine for a company to deny you a service or product that you’ve already spent hundreds, if not thousands investing into it, to suddenly have it all laid to waste over what? A few blurry snaps of an unreleased game?
