The prosecution actually did establish a motive. They documented that Avery was obsessed with Halbach. Additionally, the story is that he thought they couldn't convict him again because of his prior wrongful conviction. One of my family members was telling me that he even said they couldn't possibly arrest him again

I lived in Calumet County when all of this was going down and that is pretty much what convinced me that he was guilty.

The cat thing is actually important because of how Avery is portrayed in the show. One of the reasons people are saying that the show is biased is because it whitewashes Avery, and honestly, it does seem to do that.

As someone who lived in the area, I don't know if I agree with them on that. People were pretty torn on Avery's guilt, at least where I lived (not in Manitowac but in Calumet County). I remember a lot of family arguments about it.

They have said that the show left out a lot of the evidence implicating Avery, misrepresented the motive of Manitowac County to frame him, and are only presenting the defense's arguments, the facts of which are questionable. I know there's also been a lot of criticism that the show presented Avery as nicer and less

The thing I don't understand is that border towns aren't like the rest of the country. My sister lives in a border town and she said that it feels more like being in Mexico than in the USA. So to me it doesn't make sense that this white guy would be like "oh no, everything's changing!" in a town where this would have

This is really interesting to me because I lived near the area at the time of this trial (not in Manitowac, keep in mind). I thought that he was guilty back then, although my dad thought he was innocent. Some members of my family are having very strong reactions to this show because they are convinced it is not

Knowing what's currently happening in San Francisco real estate makes the inside of that house stick out even more.

You don't think Wildhorn is more hated?

JCS also inspired Boubil and Schonberg to write musicals.

I think the best is "One Second and a Million Miles."

"Jet Set," too.

The book is so terrible but the score is so fun.

I adore LitP but it has very little appeal to mainstream listeners. I agree about ItH, especially "99,000."

I think the problem with "Your Daddy's Son" is that a lot of people hate high notes. I would also have included "You Love Who You Love" from Bonnie and Clyde.

I just watched it because of these comments. Is this a family dinner or a dictatorship??

She said that he told her he loved her after she cleaned the fries off of his face.

I can't believe this show was the one to cheer me up after The Mindy Project.

Do we know that the dog is evil because of his shifty eyes?

She shoots Coin for a reason, though. Suicide was just the byproduct.
