There are people here saying there are other chests that look very similar. So, yes, it sounds like you would have to study the details of that picture to find the differences.
...... It’s a chest sitting on a gray cobblestone floor, surrounded by winding vines, with candles scattered around it.
Neither the title nor the picture tells you nothing about the chest. You guys are being ridiculous.
Now, look, this is just silly. This is more ridiculous than the poison and bridge complaints. If you are familiar with From games then you damn well know there are going to be trapped chests. And if are not familiar then you have no way of knowing if the title refers to a trapped chest or one, for example, that is…
That is some serious BS. I know people like the call From Software games fair, but sometimes… sometimes they are kind of BS.
Ha… I am Gen X. The first consoles I played were the Atari 2600 and ColecoVision. Both of which my grandmother had at her home. My first console at home was the NES. The NES and SNES dominated most of my childhood which I why I think we are more of the Nintendo generation. The PS1 was college stuff for me.
I guess? It just seems like those of us that actually grew up with the rise of Nintendo are getting to be older ourselves. Gen-Z would seem to be more of the PlayStation Generation. But I guess the guy that said this must be out of touch with video games in general.
How is Gen Z the Nintendo Generation?
Is this really a spoiler?
When did that happen? Do you mean exclusive to PS?
Yeah, I hate that logo. Looks like some generic logo for an MMA event. Which on one hand is fitting, but on the other is boring and a pretty big departure from the rest of the series.
As Walker said it could be very much like Dying Light 2 is now. Except the focus would be on the puzzle aspects of navigating ruins and, as you said, trying to gather and transport loot.
Well, TBF, Dredd was pretty recognizable in both movies even with the helmet on. Due to both the jaw lines and voices.
Seems like some questionable logic there. MS didn’t have anything to do with that. And not purchasing AB doesn’t change anything on the AB end on terms of what has already transpired.
I mean she is a pro gamer that basically insulted a large chunk of the fanbase in Japan. Kind of stupid thing to do and certainly worthy of being fired at nearly any company.
But I also think it leads to this weird obsession over rulings that I don’t think helps anybody. Nobody who truly needs genres is hyper analyzing the nuances here, and I think that’s kind of been a realm adopted by weirdos who like to gatekeep by condescending to people who aren’t familiar with the nuances.
I think they are superficially useful at best for broad categorization. But when so many games blend mechanics these days they start to lose their usefulness. Maybe only useful as broad descriptors when trying to describe the type of gameplay a specific game uses.
It seems like if you have levels and a skill tree you can call yourself an RPG these days. But IMO the term RPG has always been a bit loosely defined when it comes to video games.
I really haven’t run across many games that force you to engage in that kind of lore. Most just let you skip through it or not listen at all in the case of recordings or the like. Usually if there is some bit of info you need you are often just presented with that information when it is needed just by obtaining…
