My thoughts as well. I read the title and thought, “Did I somehow miss that many BotW clones?” Then I read the list and thought, “No I did not.”. Fenyx is the most obvious example. The rest are pretty dang far from BotW.

And that is the reason they should still hate it.
I have a friend that bought the game the same time I did and we spent a lot of time playing at the same time while in a party chat. He was also playing on an XSX. He seemed to coast through the game with virtually no bugs at all. I think the game crashed on him once while driving. That’s all I can remember. He…
I played on an XSX and hit bugs literally every session. It was crazy. I got stuck in scaffolding; enemies shooting me through walls while I couldn’t shoot them; cars that would suddenly stop like they fell in a mud pit (I could only reverse out… not drive forward); the game would hard crash if I drove as fast as I…
I played on an XSX and while it was very buggy it was also a very enjoyable game to play. If you’ve waited this long then, yeah, may as well wait for the next gen update. But it is worth playing.
I hit bugs literally every single play session. However, I did enjoy my time with the game. Something about the game kept bringing me back despite the buggy experience. I’ve played many games that were much less buggy that failed to hold my interest.
Splatoon? They really like those games. They aren't the sort games I would even consider for an all time list. I'm also surprised SMW is so low.
Personally I think the film is a complete train wreck. From all the meta crap that seems more interested in sending messages (that don’t really land) than telling an interesting story to the shoddy action sequences that are miles from the bar set by the previous films to the embarrassing SyFy level special effects.…
I think it might depend on the age of the person as well. A fairly young kid may not care about any of that and just want it ready to go. An older kid may want to have the joy of opening it themselves.
Oh, as for the grapple, perhaps you’d like to explain my “position of ignorance” here? From what I’ve seen it’s largely an aid in combat along opening up some exploration. It helps speed up movement (both in and out of combat); grabs throwable objects and weapons; grapple nearby ledges; pulls shields aside; and from…
You’re just busy being offended on behalf of someone else. You do that a lot. I didn’t invalidate his opinion. What does that BS even mean? It’s gibberish. I gave my own. Get over it.
Or maybe we shouldn’t add NFTs to the already massive list of problems?
I think that is his point. There is no need for digital items to be scarce.
I just think his expectations are misplaced. And, again, I have played. I have played all the Halo games. I also don’t think what he said amounts to “SO” much being wrong with the game. The grapple in particular is an odd complaint. It gives you an extra tool and mobility and is particularly useful in fights. It…
Oh, really? How is that exactly? I have played the game, just not the point of using any vehicles which is why I expressly asked if they had changed. I’m guessing not since he mentioned nostalgia. I did get to use the grapple. And it’s fine just as I said.
I’ve only played the opening of Infinite. I’m waiting on co-op. But is there something different about the vehicles? If they control like previous games I don’t see see the problem. Most control just fine.
Nintendo’s graphics really aren’t super detailed anyway. They are detailed in an artistic sense, but not really a 4K textures everywhere sense. So I think they could render higher more easily than a lot of other games. You see a lot mobile games with high resolutions for example.
That is what I was thinking. Because a lot of the people talk about how hard Dread can be and some here are expressing surprise at seeing it in the top 5. So I’m guessing the data is skewed in this case. Either people straight up lying about finishing the game or maybe the people that do finish are more likely to…
I’m not a huge comic book guy, but after a quick Google of both it looks a lot more like Gargantos to me.
How do they track this? Especially on the Switch where there are no achievements to check for progress.
