Yeah, these days most games of this type use a shared stash system so I don’t think some people realize how much of a PITA it is to not have one. I got burned more than once trying to get items to my mules or another character. Maybe my instance would be gone or maybe I’d get a Battle.net down message when trying to

Grim Dawn likely doesn't exist without "this crap".

If you had played D2 you would know how much of a QoL improvement a shared stash is in this case. To share gear before you had to have a trusted friend to hold it for you while you switched characters. The other much more risky way was to start a private match, wait around for 5 minutes or so to make sure the

I’m all in on DIIR.  But then again I never said I’d boycott anything.

To me it is pretty logical that everything will run generally better because of the better horsepower and, if nothing else, the faster loading. But I see where you are coming from. Now there are basically 3 tiers of performance.

So true. Mario Party was a completely lazy effort. Yet it still sold tons and I’m guilty of being one of them. I should have looked into it more than I did before purchasing.

Android does though it takes jumping through some minor hoops. I don’t think the case against Google is as strong as against Apple.

I’ll concede that I see where some people might have gotten confused, but to me it was pretty clear what was happening. I wasn’t the least bit surprised when they started talking about $1400 checks because they were always pushing for $2k... not $2600. And, at least locally where I am in the middle of Trump country,

Nah, it’s not really like that. iOS and Android are just operating systems on hardware you paid for with little meaningful difference compared to running Windows on your PC. Epic is pushing for these OS’s to function more like Windows where vendors can run any store they want and take whatever form of payment they

If you want to play Fortnite on your phone, you can buy an Android phone rather than an iPhone. It’s a pretty simple choice.

Way to miss the point.

It’s because a $2000 stimulus was alway the goal. It’s not any more complicated than that. They tried for $2k and that got shut down. So they settled for $600. Now the new admin comes in and they are trying to complete the $2K they originally pushed for. And, look, it’s Reps that have been fighting this the whole

Sure, but that’s the difference between finishing the main campaign and getting a 100% in a game. There’s a crap ton of unnecessary padding there.  Even the already absurdly long Ubisoft games have a ton of extra stuff you can do if you want it 100% those games.

Yeah, the few NES games that had true saves had a battery inside that was used to power what is basically a small amount of RAM that would store your progress. Other games used a password system that would basically tell the game where you were and maybe what items you had. Then most games just had no saves at all

I’d say it’s often (not always) more open than those old Crash games, but 3D World is definitely closer t0 those than the fully open games like Odyssey.

That’s definitely an issue. It think it’s combination of the floaty controls and the mostly fixed camera. If you could move the camera more it would be easier to see exactly where you are. In most 3D games you can place the camera behind you. Here it’s often off to the side which make it easier to misjudge your

But as I started playing—disillusioned and disappointed that 3D World a) isn’t a 3D world, and b) feels like a rehash of every other 2D Mario I’ve already played enough thanks

I don’t know about you but I am tired of the BS I’m reading here. It was $2K check Dems wanted originally. Reps blocked it and the everyone settled for $60o until after the Biden admin and new congress were sworn in. Now Reps continue to refuse to support the remainder ($1400) and here I’m reading a bunch of

This “it was always communicated as $1400 + $600" is at best ignorance and at worst revisionist history.

Not to mention, they’re capable of doing plenty now. They just don’t want to. They’re even trying to whittle down the $1400 through means testing. If only they worked to help people as hard as they worked to squash the progressive movement that represented the desired policies of most Americans!
