Fenyx Rising and Cyberpunk.  I wanted to get through Fenyx before Cyberpunk arrived, but I was playing Valhalla before Fenyx and it took a while.  I normally do not like to play more than one game at a time so I’ll focus on Fenyx, but I won’t be able to resist dabbling with Cyberpunk a bit.

Right, but I think that is up to the reader to make those judgments. I personally don’t have any specific cut off. I’ll generally avoid games that are getting universally panned, but it’s not like I cut everything off at 8 or whatever. I apply my own past experiences and preferences. I’ll be willing to check out a

I agree with much of what you said. I think too often people forget that games might be reviewed by different people. And it’s not a hypocrisy if one person at a site likes one thing and another person at the same site doesn’t. But couldn’t the same be said of the written review? If someone writes a scathing

I personally like review scores and find them useful for the same reason you gave. They provide a nice bird’s eye view of the general reception of a game. For me they function as a starting point to gauge if I then want to dig further into the details via the written portion of reviews.

Surely she is next, right?  Kratos and MC were announced a few days apart.  Maybe Samus will be announced a few days from now?

Riley: I’m looking at some guides now, and it’s weird because the guide is telling me I can’t romance them as the gender I am, and that makes no sense to me! Because the scene is so clearly written as “romance times,” like why would you write the whole scene? Just don’t give me the option!

Guess it depends on the person. I have no associations whatsoever between the VA and whatever random character they voiced. Really, 99% of the time I have no idea who voices anything.  It just doesn’t matter to me.

What kind of TV are you using? This really shouldn’t be an issue with HDMI on modern TVs. As others have said you may need to play around your TV’s aspect ratio settings. Also check your console’s video output settings. Most of the time ‘automatic’ works properly with most settings.

Oddly Netflix seems to have pulled the tweet.

Go fuck yourself.

They are in the process of purchasing ZeniMax for $7B. And this is in addition to the various studios they’ve acquired or opened over the last couple of years. It’s going to take a little time for all this actively to pan out into releases, but they absolutely care about having 1st party titles.

That’s fair, but social media and eBay much more broad. Anecdotally it’s just my brother that is still looking for an XSX. But I know probably a dozen family and friends still trying to score a PS5. My wife is a teacher and she says all the talk in her middle school is about the PS5.

General hype on social media. Not quantitative, but the PS5 is easily garnering more hype. Or if you want something more definitive then look at scalping prices. The PS5 is trending at around $300 more than the Series X on eBay. And this is with seemingly a lot more stock of PS5s appearing in stores and online.

I just don’t buy her excuse that this happened because there was no warning. She is literally saying that if there had been a warning, despite the fact that the warnings contain no information about what might pose the threat, that she would have looked away from the blinking lights. But since there was no warning

I’m still skeptical. The warnings are basically standard now. They are generally informative of a risk posed by video games, but I don’t think they can be relied upon as indicative of the danger posed by any specific game. If I’m someone that has a knows I have this condition I’m not relying on just that single

Yes?  I’m not sure what that has to do with the discussion.  But, OK.

I didn’t even realize there are tiers to Game Pass.

Yeah, they’re definitely parkour based challenges, but the only payoff is the tattoo. I get enough of the parkour elements just playing through the game as whole so the tattoos aren’t enough to make me want to run through a bunch of extra courses.

And would probably also know to not rely solely on the in-game warning. And, again, if you are playing a game like Cyberpunk this is very likely far from your first rodeo. You would know a game like this, especially with this theme, is going to have the same risk. Is it really your position that had the warning

Also, how are so many chests in rooms/buildings that are barred from the inside with no one inside?
