The safety argument has merit, in so much as it prevents arbitrary apps from injecting things that cost real money in deceptive ways such that users spend money without realizing it, or that the payment method steals their personal information.

Nah, I’d rather ban motorcycles.
This is meaningless jibberish. The point isn’t how the vehicle got there, but rather how it performs in a given situation.
I think the same problems still apply. If you have console players on the fence about which next gen hardware platform to buy it’s entirely possible existing XBox player will switch to the PS5 and drop their subs at the same time. And surely it’s better to draw new players to the XBox platform. Using current…
I loved this game as a kid. It’s also one of several games that when I play them today I wonder how I ever beat them as a kid. I guess I had more patience and free time to grind difficult sections over and over.
It’s the GOBN (Good Ol’ Boy Network). Many executives are there because they knew the right people (went to the same school, frat, or some other stupid shit), family ties, kissed the right ass, etc...
On one hand, yes, this is absolutely the correct decision for the game and developer. However, I think what concerns most people is what this means for the next gen console overall. In general people were much more impressed with Sony’s game showcase than Microsoft’s. And now the flagship title is delayed. It…
And corporations the government approves of selling your data without your consent (e.g. ISPs).
I don’t think complexity is the appeal at all nor should it be. It’s NOT a puzzle. What should be the appeal is how accurate the different modes look. Now how good each mode looks and how well the articulation works does often contribute to the complexity. But the complexity itself it absolutely not the goal.
These days who can blame you?
“And we certainly haven’t made our last SteamWorld game. Nintendo Switch (and future Nintendo consoles) are natural parts of those plans.”
You are just reading too much into that statement. It’s probably just a compliment to a company with whom they currently have a deal in place. Is the XSX more powerful? I don’t know. It appears have the edge in CPU and GPU, but the PS5 has a much faster I/O. Take that as you wish.
I’ve thought about this before. It’s almost like he says how we wants things to be and not necessarily how they are in reality.
Trump is also a total fucking hypocrite:
Check out the YouTube video. There is a link in the description to a Dropbox account with a bunch of documents and testimony. Specifically, read the first CCO document. It contains, among other things, a summary of how they feel the IP was stolen.
I read that and I’m still not sure what to think. It says the style guide suggests avoiding “committed”, but the author clearly doesn’t agree. So nothing really seems settled at all.
50%? Then get out (or mail in) and vote. At 50% the white vote effectively cancels itself out. Of course the fly in the ointment is the electoral college. It matters where that 50% resides. Trump lost the popular vote last election but still won the presidency.
Well, poverty is a major driver of crime. Though I won’t say people shouldn’t be held accountable. I’m just saying that in this situation where the author is angry about how Arthur relates to these two characters on a personal level I don’t agree with the author’s take. We don’t know how Joe ended up in the army or…
Yes I blame those people in Nazi Germany and those people who fought in the Civil War for the South, why? Because in a circumstance like that you do have a choice. These are society altering wars, not a normal day-to-day struggle of choice to do what’s right
This. All of this. The author’s view is too simplistic. He’s taking groups of hundreds of thousands of people and acting like they are some monolith.
