I still can’t quite believe that Bella Ramsey is almost 20 years old. She is terrifc as a 14 year old. Ellie’s childlike enthusiasm—for arcade games, broken down cars, stupid pun books—is a damn delight. The emotional bonding between Joel and Ellie in this episode wasn’t anything original, but still heartfelt to see

To be fair that could also describe Alice Cooper, who seems like a perfectly nice guy off stage. Too many people assumed the same about Warner, and were catastrophically wrong.

Because he’s a liar… and that’s what liars do. They lie about things they have said and done in the past.

From what I saw, it might have actually been a pandemic casualty as especially shows featuring ‘teens’ were difficult to sustain over that period for multiple reasons. Yet man I was shocked how much I loved this

Nicholas Colasanto, “Coach” from Cheers, directed Etude in Black, not Cassavetes.....

There is a downside to LOW LEVEL employees for being racist prigs.. the higher up you go, the less impact there is to you.. and at the “big boy” level its about as impactful as a 2 dollar coupon on a 10000 meal.

Here’s hoping this turns out to have been the secret final project that Gilbert Gottfried worked on before he died last year.

I mean, the neighbor is literally stuffing granny with cookies in the morning. Infected wheat/cookies.

Amen!

Every “Historically beloved series, but cynical or inverted” has already been done - and been done better - by The Venture Brothers.

Yep, most people underestimate the time spent in a rest stop, especially if you are traveling with multiple people.

I’m shocked. Shocked. Absolutely no one could have anticipated this turn of events.
