none of what I’m reading sounds remarkably egregious.

in the back, through the special curtain.

Do you think the vanity nature of the project kept them from making the obvious move of tying the movie closer to Shazam?  Was it a case of “We can’t be a spinoff of a Kid’s superhero movie!”?

I love Pump Up the Volume. The soundtrack introduced a young me to Concrete Blonde and my life hasn’t been the same.

I mean, it’s not exactly a huge question why it didn’t succeed: it was, by all accounts, a mediocre vanity project in a nebulously established franchise that’s been hit or miss based around a relatively niche character who really was only of interest to Johnson himself.

Samantha Mathis in Pump Up The Volume was a 90's crush

Look, I think we can all agree that if anyone gets to be an egomaniac jabroni (...sure, that’s a word), it’s The Rock. I mean, come on, he took over the name of the most common object on the planet. You know how cow milk is so prevalent that we just call it “milk”? How chicken eggs are so overwhelmingly popular that

Wut?  I thought it was agreed that Andor was good.  I’m not really sure how anyone complaining about Andor needs to be amplified, as they must be in such a small minority as to be singular.  I am not sure I even understand this article:  Down year for Marvel (Except for the streaming, so, hunh?).

It’s actually incredibly common in sexually abused children to act outwardly sexual at an inappropriately young age. And Googling it, Thorne was indeed sexually abused from age 9-14 according to her. Reporting that sort of behavior (if that’s the case) to her parents seems correct and not what a pedo would do.

First principle of scamming is to ensure that savvy folks ignore it so they don’t alert the suckers.

I mean at this point they’re both divorced so what exactly is so shameful about continuing to see each other? Seems like it would almost be more shameful if they cheated and wrecked their marriages for some meaningless fling and didn’t continue seeing each other after?

I feel for the poor sod who had to camp out at the airport watching for these people when they could have been at home w/ their own families.

There are people who still support R. Kelly and Bill Cosby. This is not surprising.

People who hold things up by having to wait for just the exact perfect spot, instead of saving a few minutes and just driving the extra 50m. If it’ll kill you to walk that far, you’re eligible for the permit. I will gladly just go to the very first spot I can find, it doesn’t matter that much.

I have a full size truck, but certainly not a Trump truck as it isn’t even a 4WD. And I for more than one reason park way out in the rural area of the lot. It is easier, it gives others (and me) more room, and I don’t need to worry about lot damage as much. I don’t get these huge truck and SUV owners that feel the

There are going to be a lot of very valid pet hates in this comment section, and I likely agree with a number of them, but one I want to mention is people who leave the tow ball attached to their cars when they’re not towing anything drive me crazy. Thank you for leaving a small, immobile piece of steel hanging out

There’s the obvious ones like carts left in parking spaces or cars that take up more than one spot,

Having worked for rich people, I can +1 this. First-generation rich people can be all right, though you do get a few “I worked hard for my money and therefore you should eat shit” types. I.e. your basic libertarian.

Hey. she’s not a regular mom, she’s a cool mom.
