Yeah man, what other studio is known for only developing one genre really well.

This weird completionist mindset bugs me a lot. Like, I like completing single player games, getting 100% and all that, but if it’s got a multiplayer or community component then timed events and rewards are a great way to make things feel special.
Huh. I guess it’s very possible then that the version on the disc without an assumed day-1 patch is incomplete, or at the least very buggy? From what little I know of the situation I think it’s kind of ridiculous to assume daymeeuhn is lying. More likely that he’s getting a glimpse into something that’s not 100%…
H’yup. I’ve been excited since I saw the original trailer but for much more realistic reasons than most others it seems. I love procedural generation and I think it’s only a matter of time before it really starts to come into it’s own, and the art-style and exploration of this game had me excited too. But at no point…
The “only one type of gun” I had actually assumed was the case, since I assumed everything was tied to your multitool and you just upgrade that.
...except I’m pretty aware of what the game was always going to be and I’m fine with the way it is now. Even in the event that you can reach the center in 30 hours I’ll still be happy to buy it and give it a shot.
I haven’t the slightest clue if it was easy to find, it could have been difficult, I know it’s not the only bug he found.
To my knowledge there is literally no evidence to believe that is the case.
That sub has been a cesspit of fan-wankery conjecture from the day it was birthed. I think I unsubbed within a week of joining due to the delusional mindset those users have.
It almost certainly doesn’t. Either it’s intended that you can progress as quickly as daymeeuhn did or it’s a resource glitch. Player interactivity is almost non-existent, that’s something Hello Games has been very clear on. The only thing that might effect that is the waffling we’ve seen on whether drastic changes to…
I have heard at least one person say that daymeeuhn’s explanation for how he was able to reach the center so quickly was due to a bug where he was effectively able to have limitless resources, allowing him to bypass most of the gameplay loops that would slow a player’s progress in this regard. This coupled with him…
I know what you’re talking about:
Don’t.
Devils advocate for Dark Souls obtuseness: As I mentioned in my other comment, it can be used for good (Insight) but as you pointed out it can also obfuscate important information (Poise in 3, ADP in Dark Souls 2, Stability’s effect on shields, etc)
The perfect example of this in my mind is some of the hidden effects of Insight in Bloodborne. It’s a purposefully vague resource that has some obvious effects (used to purchase items and summon players) but also has some far-reaching but confusing effects you would have a hard time tying to it without outside…
Why don’t you have a dedicated indie-gaming news roundup? It’s not for a lack of content and in general kotaku only covers the biggest indie titles that most anyone with a passing fancy is already aware of. Even then you miss a lot of those, Risk of Rain being a prime example of a game that got a lot of praise from…
This list will always be wrong until Rune Factory 4 gets included in it. That’s not just a best of 3DS, that’s a best RPG of the past decade.
