I remember playing this and FFXIII around the same time and thinking the developers somehow mixed the two up. Lost Odyssey felt like a faithful FF. FFXIII felt like a rail shooter.

Story arcs that close off Lorelei and Emily’s stories nicely, and a story arc that unravels Rory so completely that you could easily get a new series proper out of her for several seasons with the other Gilmore Girls in side roles.
