Humans are savages, as evident by the video you're referring to so we should probably strive to be something better. That said, I'm a lawyer which is something much worse. /joke

My thoughts exactly if you add 'wtf' before the lol.
Thank you, that provided me with several moments of laughter.
Before replying to a three day old post it's generally a good idea to read the discussions as we have already discussed the DNC list, it's operation, t/info provided etc.
Ok, I'm throwing up an official WTF. Gawker and io9 are the same bloody site so there is no need for one blogger to post the same video another blogger posted days before. Isn't this kinda-sorta-almost-not really stealing clicks.
No, not the same. I'm not in the US but I can state with certainty that our respective countries have very different privacy laws. That is to say that in Australia our privacy laws are much more comprehensive than those in the US. Additionally, although I am ignorant to the Yank version of the DNC list, here in…
I understand that, however, my comment was discussing the amount of personal information required in order to opt out. Exactly how many people on fb have their postal address displayed on their public profile [rhetorical question].
To summarise, in order to opt out of their data collection venture you have to provide your full name, postal and email address... right.
Cheers, someone mentioned that a while back and I managed to fix it.

I know this isn't the bulk of your argument, however, whenever someone harps on Apple's naming of [x] and then proceeds to compare them to Google I have to call bs. Google has just as many ridiculous names and you need to look no further than the Android OS... Ice-cream Sandwich, Honeycomb, Jellybean.
