@TheBobmanNH: That's true, but China aside, the US uses much more oil than the rest of the world. If the US alone significantly reduced their consumption of middle east oil, their economy would take a dive. That is to say that their economy is obviously severely dependent on the supply of oil, but the US a

@Flemish: Exactly, Dubai is not an impressive city when you are not looking at the scape from afar. When you really get down to it - it's just a few tall buildings surrounded by a whole lot of sand that will reclaim the area if the US ever gets off it's oil dependency.

I have always disliked Zangief and this video really solidified that.

@willyolio: In that case your initial post is a 'lol' situation. If you look at the video as well as the stills you one can reasonably conclude that Cannon is making this for the average consumer/photographer, not production professionals.

'... by out dramatic demonstration of this traffic control capability, we wanted to show t/world our superiority.'

@pastor.allan: And possibly maybe affordable because RED cameras are rather exclusive.

This is truly an amazing looking store. That said, it's Paris so it's truly fitting with the area.

The iPhones 'white on black' option would be great if it did not reverse the colours or everthing, i.e. pictures.

@jeremy_mccurdy: I agree with you completely. However, in Lifehackers defence, this is the US edition of the site and they have location specific versions that likely do not cover the story. You could say that if you are reading something on us.life/us.giz, it for said market.

I still wonder what exactly they're going to do with Orkut.

@Conor Murphy: That's exactly what I was thinking. Granted it's not popular in Canada, US and UK, they outrank StalkerBook in some markets.

@doyleman7: Because everyone does it and those guys are under a lot of pressure to get those trucks unloaded, sorted and loaded again in a very short time frame. This guy has no excuse to throw the package, but I'd be willing to wager that it's the best it's been treated since being shipped.

Lol, if you think this is bad you should see how packages are handled at both FedEx and UPS before they leave the distribution centre. Those packages are dropped, thrown, kicked and wedged during the moving, loading and unloading stage.

@UWAZell: Cancel that, just realised you have to select the option

I've tried to call numbers in the US and have gotten nothing.

@Michael Scrip: Well, we don't have Starbucks in Oz so that won't be a problem, but when you're in the Train station in the CBD there's wifi everywhere. That said, I'd forgotten about the headphones... not that it would stop them from yelling.

Here's my thing with Factime. I'm already annoyed by people who feel the need to yell while on the telephone as if the other person can't hear them though the mic right next to their mouth. Now, not only will I have to deal with those same wankers yelling so that everyone can hear them, but now I'll actually have to

I Hotspot Shielded a signup with SIP and GV, deleted the shield and everything works fine. Now I can call my mates in America for free from my Mac, but I wish I could do so from my iPhone.

See this is why I love Lifehacker. For the last three days I've been researching this and haven't found any reputable sources for a comparison. But, out of nowhere here's LH right on time.

What would be interesting to find out is that these blokes defected rather than returning to NK.
