Not really all that surprising when you consider that [a] the iPhone OS is only available on the iPhone, and [b] the iPhone is only available with AT&T.
As they say, the only bad publicity is no publicity so BMW should love all the free advertising.

Good read and I've been doing this for nearly two years now. I have both an Ozzie and US iTunes account and have registered my credit details on both for music and app purchases.
@hombrelobo: I'd wager that Giz assumes that the reader would infer that this is US only considering that, as you've pointed out, this is a US site. That, coupled with the fact that they have sites dedicated to foreign readers respected countries, i.e. Australia, and it doesn't appear there.

Cook look good, but it's very clear that the designer hails from VW because the front facia of this vehicle, and the Golf/Polo/VW concept car from late last year looks entirely the same.
