Usually stuck landing gears have manual hand cranks, etc + belly landings at commercial airports include the coordination and positioning of fire crews to “Meet” the plane at its final resting place.

There's been video surfacing of the plane sliding to a stop without landing gear deployed. Maybe the subsequent fire could've been avoided if they dumped more fuel before attempting it.
