No they can’t. Never underestimate the power of free cars and car mix requirements in fleet buy contracts

The only thing sexier than that would be the golf r wagon.

Don't worry. The dead won't mind.

Well, hopefully they pay homage to the temple of Bezos and visits Seattle.

That’s just because the Sebring is gone, and ford/GM probably give massive fleet discounts on bread-and-butter spec cars purchased as an all up package. This is why rental fleets get stuck with a smattering of unpopular cars and other shit that’s hard to rent out.

Value schmalue. The car is still awesome. We passed on a 3er wagon for my car because of the size (baby seat), but we’re revisiting it when my wife’s car is due for replacement. That, or a euro delivery v90....or a land cruiser...or a Golf R. (We're conflicted people)

Lies. Avis, enterprise and Hertz is probably ready and willing.

Disagree. Does the E350 wagon count in the same segment? If so, that is awesome. Also, the Canadians get the E400 cheaper than Americans get the E350.

Got a Cybex aton Q. Great seat that fits in the GTI + the merc wagon.

Well, they don’t have them, since they don’t measure them there. America does have the worst among OECD countries; so that’s something to be proud of?

to indict Qatar is to indict the US. We practically have the same Gini coefficient (economic measure of inequality in society).

You can’t even have made-in-USA electronics at any scale anymore. The entirety of manufacturing expertise and craft has been lost in 1 generation here, and it primarily exists in China now.

It’s funny. As a new parent, you see that all the child safety equipment (car seats, etc) are made in China already.

Question: Will this thing have a 25 year service life too?

Front ends of cars are soft structures, vs the rear of cars, which are typically hard structures.
