Actually, the ending of Lost perfectly cleared up all mysteries.  Where did Jacob and the Man in Black/smoke monster/fake-Locke (yes, that's right: one of the most important characters on the show doesn't even have a name) come from?  They came from their mom, so stop asking questions because only stupid people ask…
