Jump scares are a cheap crutch. The game doesn’t need them.

This one goes out to everyone who has ever said “only fans of this series should be on the review”, a practice that serves nobody except the fans who were already gonna play the game anyway.
Pranking random strangers is his passion?...
Between none of the reporting describing the “prank” and a cursory view of their channel, in addition to their statement that they’ll continue “pranking”, I’m more than inclined to believe that there was no actual “prank” and it was likely just straight up harassment at the minimum.
In all the cases I’ve read about over the years, there’s only 1 I can think of that was actually a false allegation. I think it’s time we just take these women at their word and stop worrying about false allegations as a knee jerk reaction.
The “Steven Universe” problem, I’ve observed, is indeed an example of fan toxicity. Likely it stemming from the fact that many viewers/readers are inexperienced with engrossing storytelling and worldbuilding, and react accordingly with obsession, and end up having the largest megaphones.
I like Sanderson’s books, they’re definitely popular because they’re accessible and competently delivered as opposed to dazzling the reader with prose but there’s no shame in being the MCU of fantasy books.
This.
Yep. I see this shit in nerd circles all the damned time. Video games, CCGs, name it.
This so much.
I mean, I respect the effort, but the people I trust least on earth to follow through on their threats are whales. Not to cast too broad or too harsh a net here, but I think we all kind of understand that F2P whaling tends to be pathological behavior. You don’t drop plural stacks grinding up a waifu because You Can…
Honestly not donating to charity at all is more respectable than donating and turning it into content.

I’ll take a potato chip. AND EAT IT!
Death Note is worth a watch just for the utter cheesefest it truly is.
I thought it was Vitamin C!
The thing I keep wondering is why is his wife just crying besides him through the video. If I were her I would not want my husband who already violated our friend’s and I’s trust to put my heartbreak on display for content.
They are famous because people enjoy watching them play video games. Not because they play video games.
To me, one should reserve their ire for folks who complain about our screwed up healthcare system and then not vote (or vote against that interest).
I suspect a video about the years-long slog through lobbying and legislature, with its accompanying failures and setbacks and systemic sabotage, to finally result in a compromise which allows for some mild progress, will not generate the revenue sufficient to fund such an effort.
This guy can give away money because…
Hard to believe this guy got his start running a simple fast food burger chain.
