The jetpack completely removed map awareness that was so crucial in 3. You could just fly out of any jam so you didn’t need to think much. Remove the loot boxes from 3 and you have yourself a great game if they bring it back.

That stops being true at higher endgame challenge tiers though. Especially one you take into account co-op health scaling on mobs. This patch looks like PCF looked at the top 1% twitch streamers and balanced the game on that alone.
