I will say that, as noted above, I don’t feel like Smith acted like a dick to us at all. The “we’re not talking about this yet”s are a little silly, but I really enjoyed this interview and am hoping to chat with him again after TTK comes out and we can talk about all of the design decisions they make there.

In general, the answer should be yes. It is a pretty significant upgrade to any prior version.

What version of Windows 7 do you have? Is it a Home edition or a Pro (or higher) edition?

My computer is 7 years old and I upgraded from Vista to Win 8.1. It has definitely extended the lifespan of my computer with noticeable performance improvements (even the startup times went from painful waiting for several minutes until I can use my computer to completely loaded before I am even ready to use it).

Backwards compatibility was a pretty great mic-drop moment. I think that’ll help Xbone recover some lost territory. It certainly makes me more comfortable in buying one so I can keep up with the new Rock Band and carry my old DLC over!
