I’ve never been so excited to vote NP on a car.  This things is beautiful inside and out.  And I’m not even a fan of RX7s or rotaries.  I mean, I like them, but never had any intention or ambition to own one.  The paint’s a little dull, but it can be brought back up with a little wheel action and some tender love.  Read more

And it won’t be worth $0 when it blows up. Easily, and conservatively, a grand with a dead engine or toasted clutch? So do you think you can get 1 summer of cruising out of it for $2500? 2 summers? I’d roll the dice on that.

Allow me an analogy: You walk into a Quiznos and see a guy leave half of a perfectly good Italian sandwich just... sitting there. There’s nothing wrong with it. The sandwich was clearly cut in half, and aside from being a little rough from the unwrapping process, that’s half of a good sandwich. It even still has the Read more

The Volt just wasn’t enough car for the price. Too small and cramped, missing cool options, bland styling, didn’t drive particularly exciting. I think GM learned a lot from it though and they’re CES stuff was really exciting.

Oh the Volt. The Volt got a raw deal. The COO of my old employer, who could have driven any car he wanted, drove a Volt for years. Now he drives a launch edition Gladiator and his son drives the Volt to school and work. I still see them from time to time and his son said he has filled the gas tank only twice since his Read more

I agree, not a period correct dog. However, give the guy credit for attempting to match the dog’s color scheme to the truck’s. Personally, I would have gone with a Black and Tan Coonhound.

The dog in the pic does not appear to be period correct. It does come with the dog right? All trucks of this vintage had a dog......

Having worked on BMW, Mercs and VW; I will contend that BMW’s are the easiest of the three to work on, then VW, then MB.  MB just does things needlessly complicated compared to other manufacturers.

Objectively neither team should have been there because closing a covid testing and vaccination site in order to have unpaid teenagers risk contracting that same disease to play a football game is fucking egregious.

I have no beef with OSU getting in. Whoever played Alabama was going to get killed and there were flaws with the 3 non-Alabama teams that made the playoffs (losses, didn’t play enough games). Read more
