Sure, why not. It’s fantasy money I’m spending and I’d rather have one of these (love that blue leather!) survivors than two of that crummy pickup from yesterday. At least this one looks good, runs and would be an easy weekend car show driver.

I had the Datsun version of one of these and anything more than a 1-hour trip had me wanting to get out and walk the rest of the way.

As someone further down pointed out, it’s shown with no windshield wipers! What’s up with that? Or is it like the a/c and just needs to be hooked up?

I look at that rear bumper and suspect there’s more rust to be found.

TOO much, even in this alternate reality of used-car pricing. Did this even cost that much when brand new? Don’t think so. Not paying that much for a very basic, stripper work-truck with few/no options, non-working A/C, lots of rust and worn-out interior. Maybe at $5000, but it would be a reach even at that. ND

And OIL, lots and lots of oil . . .

^^^^^ EXACTLY ! ^^^^^^

Congratulations! As a life-long rider (and racer) and former motorcycle magazine test rider, honestly I have questioned your knowledge of motorcycling more than once on these (electronic) pages. I’m impressed you’d put your own money on the line and look forward to reading about a real-life owner experience of the

Been there and done that. One of the more interesting or odd days when I was in Chicago. Stuff happens, trains stop. Life.

Damnit, that’s tempting! Beautiful car (I’ve seen them locally in traffic) and spec’d the way I’d like. Love the deep blue paint.

I really LIKE the paperweight idea!

Fer Sure! Fud-it money for a weekend drop-top Jag! Yeah yeah yeah there will be issues and repairs dealing with Brit “reliability” but you’ll have fun with the car and when it comes time to sell it, will get your money (mostly) back. Nice Price!

Sweet! Damn, but I should find one of these . . .

FUGLY and half-finished. The front end and the rear look like they were designed (?) for different bikes. Honda’s styling the last decade has been hit and miss . . . and mostly MISS.

For a sporty car, an incredibly BLAND bit of styling. A forgettable-looking car. The boy-racer mods, high mileage and photos of soap suds on the pavement around the car, means a hurry-up-and-sell approach. A survivor, but it hasn’t been babied. No Dice.

It’s rare enough, clean enough, built well enough that if I had the money to throw at a sunny weekends-only two-seater, I could talk myself into this. Guaranteed conversation-starter anywhere you go.

NOT my idea of a “Hot Escort.”

As a publishing pro, there are different types of editors. Copy Editors are the ones who do the detail work of typos, grammar, spelling . . . and they’re also the first to be let go when a “content provider” needs to cut staff.

I highly doubt that if the town’s population was majority white, that this would be happening. And Fuck any and all right-wing, vote-suppressing assholes.

It should be noted (I’m an old-school journalist) that Lucid’s pricing is significantly higher than Rivian’s, which means they have much more leeway in terms of how badly they need to screw over customers to cover unexpected new production expenses.
