Hug us and squeeze us and call us George.
Hug us and squeeze us and call us George.
Wow. I promise you Scarlett O'Hara was not sitting down to write the family Christmas letter.
See this is where, I believe, we make a critical mistake. Because it is distasteful to us (rightfully so) we decide that it should be brushed under the rug. In my opinion, we SHOULD be making a huge deal of the 75th anniversary. We should be releasing DVDs of this movie with commentary by professors of history and by…
As someone who has family all over Virginia, my experience is that you're fine 10-12 mph over on the interstates. Although when the speed goes up to 70, I tend not to go over 80, which is speed when I'm finally going "fast enough."
+1 Fuck Virginia.
Were you by chance driving a Crown Vic or a newer Taurus? Seeing one of those in the rearview is Pavlovian stimulus down here.
"We are not racist at all and serve anyone."
Odd side effect.
I don't get all the hate and anxiety towards VA over this. Who in the hell is driving at 20+ all the time that this is a big deal for them? I've been driving/speeding through VA for 10 years. I've gotten a few normal speeding tickets, and when I was going 20+, the cop gave me 19+ so I wouldn't get screwed.
Waze is definitely super handy in those situations.
Exactly. Which is why VA also bans radar detectors. Its not about slowing down, its about revenue.
As someone that lives in VA, it's harder than it may seem. The speed limits are ridiculously low throughout towns and cities across the state. I recall one day I was driving down a road where 35-40 mph would very easily be a safe speed, but the speed limit was 25-30. A city cop came up behind me. Do you know how…
It's all about money and nothing else in VA. Safety is a lie. I still haven't had a worse experience just driving than going through Virginia in terms of driving standards and lane discipline on the east coast. That includes Florida which is its own special hell.
This was also one of my favorite parts. Let's trot out the losers! No trophy for you, failures. No husband snagged, the poor, sad things.
I learned last night that it was custom made.
I thought it was funny that the preview had her mention that with Swift saying "I'm 25. I drink," and then that wasn't in the actual interview.
Barbara's losing it. But somebody please tell me that's not really Amal's neck in the lead photo. It is horrifying.
I find it funny that Amal Clooney wouldn't give her a personal interview. Why stoop to tabloid journalism?
I hate Barbara Walters and her lists are always bullshit. Her treatment of Amal manages to overestimate and underestimate her at the same time. She underestimates her by placing her value on who she married rather than the fact that she's one of the best lawyers in the world. She overestimates her by placing her at…
