The thing is, investigators tend to look for other reasons for rape first - namely that the victim is lying or otherwise got their facts wrong - before they actually admit that maybe a crime took place. With other crimes, they will investigate it as though an assault/threat/burglary/whatever took place before they

As far as I’m aware, you’re not wrong. Unfortunately, the justice system is horribly broken, so rape victims have to actually prove there was a crime committed first, before any steps are even taken to look into it.

You would think, since Deters believes burden of proof belongs to rape victims, not (alleged) rapists, but he flat-out said Tensing never should have been a cop.

I would be fairly optimistic in this case, if only because the prosecutor is a hard-core conservative.

It sounds like they’re going to investigate his collaborators, too. Evidence clearly showed he wasn’t dragged, so obviously he had people trying to help cover it up.

My grandma’s big thing before she passed was sunscreen. She grew up in the time before it was invented, and did a ton of damage to her skin. Later in life she was always at the dermatologist getting weird things removed.

My skin hurts just thinking about it. ::shudders::

Question - did Megan Fox not answer because she has better things to do, or because she knows Shia has her number and changed it?

I’m 32 and never done those things, either, but it’s been my personal choice, not because my parents have me leashed. (Well, the vacation thing is more because all my friends and I are poor.)

How about the whole house?

Food synthesizer.

I assume being 19 had something to do with his judgement.

He’s visiting the US-Mexico border, so it’s only going downhill.

Hard to say. If primaries were two weeks ago, I would have said no. If they were today, I’d say yes. It really depends on what diarrhea spills from his mouth next.

The owner was wrong, but the parent was wrong, too. If I’d been the owner, I’d have yelled at the parent.

God, I was an awful child. If I’d been my parents, I’d have locked me in a closet and forgotten about me. (Did that make sense?)
