Joren has some serious spidey senses to know that Danarys was stuck on the ground and vulnerable. I’m happy he made up with his House and happy he died a hero defending the person he loved the most.

Best moment of the episode.  However, I was overall pretty underwhelmed by the end.  But this was a truly great moment.

Did anyone see if Grey Worm, Gilly, and Little Sam made it? I don’t recall them getting devoured, but it is hard to believe that the only named casualties are Edd and Ser Friendzone.

How about “Giant-wightsbane”?

I saw a video where Nikolaj Coster-Waldau says he got lost in the moment and totally forgot he was acting. When the director said “cut” he said he had no idea what just happened.  I like to think somewhere the real Westeros exists and Nikolaj channeled the real Jaime knighting the real Brienne.

Brienne’s smile just broke me. In the best way.

I had the pleasure of seeing three different takes on Disney World in a single trip two years ago. It was on that trip that the fairly large group was divided into three camps: me and my folks were the seasoned veterans, my kids were the children on their first visit, and my wife was an adult who had never been before.

It’s taking winter forever to come. Must need harder porn.
