I have come to understand this. I noticed a couple years ago that reheating a steak that I had grilled at max power forced a lot of juices out and made it tougher. Now I set it on half power and for 5 minutes or so and much less fluid loss and a better outcome. Pretty much do this with everything now when I reheat it.
