Yes, I don’t like that kind if joke. Parents look up to their parents and expect them to be generally in control. Just because children having to put up with drunk parents is common doesn’t make it right.

The diplomatic answer also happens to be the right one. Sure people have access to information at will in this day and age,  but to have the impulse to look at many sources before making decisions is a skill that you have to be taught. No one is born with it.

To tell you the truth, despite thinking he did lose it on the plane, I wasn’t thinking of Brad as a bad guy, I just considered that Angie had a zero tolerance policy and it had been a dealbreaker for her. (Full disclosure, it would be one for me too).

I don’t know what exactly happened either but if the authorities investigate what happened on a plane, even if they decide not to prosecute because you didn’t actually make contact with your kid since the mom stayed between you, I do think you might not always be making the best parenting choices.

Yes, I’m getting a strong “needs a psych evaluation” from this interview. Going from shooting in a public place to sounding calm within a few days is as you say, full blown crazypants.
