Thank you for your reviews! A very understated finale, and I'm still not sure how I feel about that.

I also like that they had the wait storyline. Super common for people to hold on like this. I agree it was not necessary to hype it up years ago, but hey, that’s This is Us.

This was absolutely beautiful.

Holy crap, did I cry my eyes out this episode. There is so much this show does well. Young Rebecca holding the babies ... her grown children caring for her. I'm so excited for the final 2.

Charlotte’s daughter Lily was learning how to use tampons. And evidently Charlotte could use one for the flash period she randomly got in this episode.

Agreed! In the book you truly feel at odds and torn between all the mothers. Even snobby Elena, you begrudgingly understand why she’s a terrible mother to Izzy (and she is an AWFUL mother to Izzy in the book). This show... All of the small changes add up to some nonsensical character motivations. I miss how Mia kept

I said almost the exact same thing to my husband, except about Joshua Jackson and Dawson's Creek. They could turn on the TV and watch their dad, their age.

I swear Beth did do this in a previous episode. Randall totally scoffed at the idea. Can’t make someone go to therapy.

Can someone explain to me how Penn’s last limerick applied to two bombs? Or was it only ever supposed to go with the car/backpack bomb? Because Penn seemed pretty scared that he was about to blow up at Kane High. I just don’t understand how the clues matched the bomb at Kane High, but then also the backpack bomb.

Agreed. I related to Beth so so much during all of this — I too have a big dreamer husband who is a LOT and also has some mental illness, plus the gender dynamics once the kids came into the picture are all relatable — BUT she definitely contributes to their problem by martyring herself. The thing is, at the end of

I wish I had something insightful to say. I love this forking show. I love that the reveals (like Simone!) make perfect sense and yet I had no idea that’s where they were headed.

I can’t find the comment now, maybe it was in another thread — but someone was commenting about how Joel = Christopher and Benjamin = Luke, and I wanted to say that if we’re making Gimore Girls connections, Benjamin is not Luke, but absolutely a Max Medina. He’s upstanding and has an easy rapport with Midge, but Midge

There has only been one prior season of the Handmaid’s Tale. I mean, it feels like it’s been freaking forever, but it hasn’t been.

omg, I just said something to this effect earlier. Same with the wedding of last week’s episode — how the heck does everyone know what to do all the time now?

I also thought Gilead was only New England. It makes no sense that they would be able to control and spread throughout the US in such a short time span. I agree that they needed to answer these questions like yesterday.

Watching a week late and boy am I glad I never got spoiled!

Thanks, Kayla! The show really did whimper down, didn’t it? I really didn’t care about any of the side characters beyond Tamra. I am a sucker though and by the end all I wanted was for Mindy and Danny to get together. That is literally why I even trudged through the last couple seasons because I knew the TV gods would

Me neither! I totally thought Michael had a sneaky look on his face at the end during his entire convo with Eleanor, like he didn’t seem all that convinced of what she had to say. I was super nervous he was returning to his office to enact some twisted evil plan on our foursome.

I can’t remember... in this iteration of the Bad Place, is Jason supposed to still pretend he’s a silent monk? It seemed like Eleanor tried to hush him at one point, but then Gunnar and another demon were cackling that their plan worked when they saw Tahani and Jason talk out her misery.

Yes, this has been mentioned before.
