According to the wording the guy who spent $1.4 mil was ordered to pay another $13K to the random person who bought the character on the game’s auction site. So the random who spent $552 on the character got almost 20x his money back.

I was gonna say, couldn’t you do that already with the PS4? Remote play’s been a thing for a hot minute and they opened it up to all android users a few weeks ago (have to have Android 10 to use a controller though, which sucks.) 

The lack of a killer exclusive IP is what makes it hard to think this will last. Think how much Microsoft is having trouble creating exclusive IP and they’ve been doing this 20 years.
