Same! I found that about 1/4th of the way through my playthrough, and I haven’t found a melee weapon to replace it since (though I switch to the ripper now and then because it’s awesome).

It’s my favorite go-to melee weapon. It works well against ghouls. And it’s one of the few things I stumbled upon without a FAQ :)
