Ha, I was that person with the 6k deductible who never went to the Dr, exercised 5x a week and have never been sick in my LIFE.

They did that to me too when I went in for my pre-op for spine surgery. I lost it, being in so much pain already and just wanting to get the surgery over and being there under the guise of tests etc. To then be taken into the office and asked for my ENTIRE deductible by the office worker, with a straight face. No one

Well that and none of those places is socialist.

Tell me more about the IT and language learning you speak of...looking to move and it might be helpful if I can’t get my boss to let me work remotely.

My max out of pocket last year was $6800, that was the cheapest bronze plan I could buy. How was that capped even lower BEFORE the ACA? Or capped at all? And if it was how were you working somewhere with insurance that good and yet $6800 could bankrupt you?

I’m with you. Working on leaving and likely never coming back.

One would think so, but when I was searching for one to buy I keep finding automatics. They were all cheaper than the manuals, but there were plenty, mostly the newer models. It was disappointing.

If you stick with pure Android phones that are all pretty similar. I’ve had HTC, LG and Motorola and they have all looked and acted almost exactly the same.

I have never regretted leaving my iPhone for an HTC G2 and all the other Android phones after. My BF and my boss both have iPhones and I have used them. Don’t miss it, at all.

Samsung is their own world. I recently did some consumer testing and had to go between pure android, apple, huwaei and Samsung. I’ve had an android phone for YEARS and when they asked me to do tasks on the Samsung (I didn’t know what it was) even I found them a challenge. It’d be a shame if apple converts to android

Its actually a secret cure for cancer that big pharma doesn’t want you to know about.

The paper dealer plates aren’t “fake plates” they are on the car when you buy it but it doesn’t have plates yet. You get some papers to stick on the windshield. People just never take them off. I know no one who has been pulled over for them and would guess its the same as tinted windows, a fix it ticket.

Yes they just drive around with them even when they have the actual plates. You get papers to put in your window if you legit don’t have plates.

I was going to say, I think the happy medium is 90s and early 2000s. My ‘91 Celica felt like quality inside and so does my ‘00 Miata.

Lol, do you live in LA? I know of several cars that have dealer plates on OVER their real plates, for as long as the person has had the car. I had a neighbor that kept them on the entire few years he had his car.

I would agree with that, however Gordon Ramsey is as white as it gets.

You must be really busy.

Meanwhile I have people living in tents at the end of my street.

Why doesn’t he either

Yup, my 1st time in Cyprus my bf was driving and I kept freaking out thinking we were going to get in accidents then realizing he knew what he was doing. Trying to override 20+ years of driving on the right side of the road is a challenge to say the least!
