The worst part isn’t driving the car itself, its trying to drive on roads where they drive on the left instead of the right. Something luckily you don’t have to deal with if you just have a right hand drive in the US.

Ha, no reason to be sorry I got the F out of there as soon as I was old enough. Now keeping the top up is the extent of my cold weather prep. And a steering wheel heater and seat heaters there would have been AMAZING. I was driving shitty early 80s/late 70s American cars, so I was lucky if I even arrived at my…
Minnesota, North Dakota and Montana too!
Ha, you’ve not lived where it is -20, -30 below. You can drive for 10 minutes and its still cold inside! Admittedly I only drove OLD cars there so maybe its better with newer cars now. I wouldn’t know, I definitely moved as soon as I could.
AND if you warm up the car you can get in and not have to scrape the windshield or sit there for the 1st 10 minutes freezing.
I hope you are kidding?
A great solution to this would be for companies to allow the user to make their own questions. Most of the time the majority of theirs are “what’s your favorite” something. Do most people have a favorite food or color afterage 7?
Coming from LA, its a HUGE difference.
My mom had an absolutely awful 1980 Ford Escort wagon. It was so slow and terrible, UNTIL it snowed. That thing was a blast to drive when the snow was deep. It felt like a tiny snowmobile. Good thing I lived in Northern MN at the time.
What great news! Hoping they scrap the mall idea in entirety. Who is driving out to Irwindale to go to the mall?
Check your local library, mine uses RBdigital where I can “check out” Pimsleur courses for free. Sometimes you have to wait but its free!
-Reposted as I have no idea WTF happened to my other one.
I was saying anyone who doesn’t live there will not be able to actually GO there during those hours, if they wanted to go shopping or had an appointment too bad since they won’t have the yellow placard.
So for 9 hours a day people will just not bother going anywhere in that town say for a Dr appointment or to go shopping?
Thank you. I wish you could have to option to NOT get those things. I’m driving a 2000 and am perfectly happy with the options on it, which are basically airbags and power windows. I DO NOT WANT an “infotainment” system or a tv on my dashboard. I’m good with turning my own head to see what is behind me or next to me.…
Sun gives you cancer too, oops so does a lack of sun. So don’t breathe, go inside or outside either.
Ha, I always call them back too. Generally they call from a random 800 number which I would NEVER answer. I’ve never had an unauthorized charge make it anywhere, I’ve been called more about my OWN charges than any fraud. I was across the country and went to Target. Literally paid and walked out the door and my CC…
20 minutes? I’ve never even noticed when my CC was stolen. The CARD company calls me, I tell them I didn’t make the purchases and that was it. No issues, no stress.
Of course it is. That is the point, people get colds in LA where it almost is never cold or rainy.
