And beer is another thing marketed to MEN. Look at the vast majority of beer ads? Women “selling you” on it. A scantily clad women doesn’t make me want to buy your beer and actually makes me NOT want to buy your beer because you’ve clearly decided you aren’t interested in selling to half the population or assuming we

I’m a woman and I love cars. I actually WORK in the auto/advertising industry. When something isn’t marketed to YOU and you’ve spent your entire life being told you are not part of the club and the club doesn’t WANT you there other than for your appearance (even then you’ll be harassed) it doesn’t really foster

I think the question of WHY most women don’t give a shit about cars is the point. There is nothing about having a penis that makes you like cars. People in the rainforest in Brazil are probably equally as disinterested in cars male or female.

Ha! Yes it is still a thing. Everywhere.

“Just because you see a girl at a track day or at a cars and coffee doesn’t mean she was dragged their by her other half.”

Yup. There are always sexist comments made on car sites. Doesn’t encourage women to want to be there, which I think it the point unfortunately.

I’d second the inclusive thing. When you come to a car centric website and there are pics of women in bikinis with cars that doesn’t scream “Ladies! Be car enthusiasts!” I tells me you’re going to treat me like a “girl” who is too stupid to know anything about cars or how to drive and that I should STFU and look

“the window switches are in the center console like a Ferrari”

I grew up in Northern MN where the weather is routinely well below 0 degrees F. I could probably have tolerated colder temps when I lived there but I was also freezing all the time there too, which is why I moved somewhere warm.

So the only option is heat or 65 degree ac? It takes a lot more energy to keep a space 65 than 72, which is why they give recommendations to you on what temps to keep your AC especially on high power consumption days.

See? Sexism working against everyone in this instance. No reason men should have to cover up unnaturally or that women should have to reveal their bodies. Make it equal for everyone.

What’s a jumper? In the US I’m pretty sure it’s something children wear.

Looser fitting pants, lighter weight shirts. Leave the jacket at home as well as the undershirt. Short thin weight socks, there are plenty of ways you can wear lighter clothes and still be covered. I saw plenty of men and women in Thailand wearing pants, as well as Puerto Rico, two places where AC isn’t on everywhere

I don’t see why that should be unacceptable, the whole paradigm should actually shift to women wearing MORE and men wearing less. It really makes so much more sense.

Why would it be easier to wear MORE clothes than less. That makes zero sense.

I work out a lot and am thin and am cold ALL the time.

Bald head is always better than balding...and plenty of women dig shaved heads. I love them.

I saw the red flag here “getting uncomfortable about me seeing female friends, checking my phone etc. “

So my driving style will change as soon as I get a piece of paper from the government? Interesting...
