That’s kind of the whole thesis of the show--what happens to these vapid characters when they lose their wealth. The first episode is hard to get through, because they are so awful, but it quickly becomes an incredible show about the potential for growth and change. I stan it. 

At my (large public) high school, it was a paper heart that you passed around and whenever you received a heart, you tore off part of it. To show that you lose a piece of your heart/yourself every time you give yourself to someone else. BARF.

Like I said in my previous comment, other than studying with the lawyers at their home, anyone can opt into the program. Most people are not able to pay the lawyers to study at home, so they work for them in their office. http://likelincoln.org/ It’s still the same program, though.

She didn’t, actually! She’s doing a program that many states offer, where you study the law for a year, take a practice bar, then (only if you pass) continue your studies for the real bar. 

Just curious, how is she exercising her privilege in the process? Other than doing her tutorials at home, from what I’ve read, she’s following a path that anyone can opt into (and is honestly way more accessible/cheaper than going to law school).

i LOVE mine. it’s women-only and super positive and encouraging. the trainers all compete in fights so you feel (and are being trained) as though you’re a legit boxer,even if you’re just in it for the workout. it’s the bomb!!!

It doesn’t say that the products will actually contain beeswax, though, unless I missed something. Honey is an ingredient, but I think that’s not super out of the norm. Burt’s has had other types of products for years, including a lot of skincare and baby care.
