The hit was only on the quarter panel at least.

For a few years now, Quebec also has a mandatory winter tire from December 1 to March 15. Still, we often have snow before December 1st and without fail, the first people you will see in the ditch are the big 4x4 or AWD pickups. They think that because they have AWD, they are immune to the effect snow has on the roads.
It’s clear she was listening to the Rolling Stones.
Keep in mind that doing this too often will weaken the spring of the wiper which will eventually make the wiper not able to stick to the windshield when driving. Most mechanic up here in Quebec actually tell customer not to life their wiper, even during freezing rain. It’s much easier and cheaper to clean up the wiper…
I saw one at a red light revving his engine trying to get me to race him. I also saw him 30sec later spinning out of control and hitting a light pole.
You can shorten that to “Just don’t”.
If none of these ideas grab you, what about opening a portal to Hell, right there in the frunk?
So what you are saying is that as a pedestrian, I can simply walk around with a portable airhorn and have 100% chance of making the next green light?
The nemesis probably didn’t take long to deal with. It’s getting all the asset transferred after the hostile takeover of their company that usually takes time.
Chances are the tractor-trailer saw what happened and decided to stay as witness. He also probably has a dashcam since most of those seem to have them now. So that footage could be very useful to the cop.
I worked at a cinema for years and we never let the oil get hot before putting in the kernels.
That’s exactly what I’m thinking of (just didn’t know the name lol) They give you half a day of course / theory, and then you get on the track to practice and actually learn with the instructor in your own car. So you get both the knowledge and hands-on practice with something you will be driving.
I love the idea of going on a track day but I know I’m not nearly good enough at high speed to just do one. Especially since I got a new car with 4wd and I never drove that before.
Between this and the electric version of the Kona, we seem to have more and more plain functional electric option available now. Also options that aren’t limited to the 2 seaters / yogurt box we had at first. This is great and should encourage people to actually buy them instead of new ICE.
True I’m probably biased because electricity in Quebec is cheaper than gas (not by much but still). It’s all hydro so better to some degree, if we just compare CO2 levels.
Raising CO2 tax is good but only if there are viable alternative to make the change.
My dad had a Datsun before I was born. As far as cars I remember, the 1995 Westfalia they currently have for road trips is definitely the coolest one.
Some 911 services allow you to send a text instead of call and they’ll use the location to track you down. Other than that I really see no reason to have location services on an SMS.
I lost both my grandfather last year. One in the spring, the other one a week before Christmas.
The new car smell will never be the same.
