Holy crap the rear view of that grey sedan looks like a Bimmer!
One of the first car magazines I bought was the Jan 1990 ish of R&T. I was pretty sprung on that F40.
indeed!
Yeah, not that great-looking. Do over, please.
... with the nose of an Olds Aurora!
Damn that is ugly.
My brother finished 2nd as as soloist on a moto in the Baja 1000 last year. I'm'a go with that event, having heard the stories from him. 30 hours on a moto, longest pit was 14-ish minutes, booby-traps, and standing virtually the whole time.
Combining this thread with TWO others from this week re tape deck holdovers and the XJS (nee XJ-S): you might be amused to know that Jaaaag offered CB radios as a factory option in the late 70s.) Sorry no link - this just popped into my scattered mind.
Agreed - Baldwin's impressions were hysterical! Especially the Jack Nicholson. The Reiner/Brooks show was quite different than the others - but equally good.
Are you Robert DeNiro, or do you have a 6.9, or an A8, or the 4x4 from Midnight Run?
I don't agree that relative up-and-comer Gosling takes the top spot, but I *did* enjoy Drive. Sure, there were some technical issues, and the super-violent elevator scene, but the driving was great.
I agree completely. This treatment DOES make it look more Japanese than Italian, but it's not a dig. It's just the way it turned out. I'd drive it.
Last week I saw one leaving SeaTac airport with "FROMGOD" on the plate. It was a new white Camry. Weird.
Agreed. Transformers meets Avatar.
No too shabby. As always, the longroof is the best-looking. I still prefer the W210 with the oval headlamps, in wagon form, but this a big improvement over the hideous W212 and the half-baked attempt at pontoon fenders.
It might be a blast, but I anticipate nightmarish repair/maintenance bills. No thanks. BMW (and thus Mini) is barfing out a lot of rubbish these days. See: M6 Gran Coupe (sic)
I offer that it's the Tesla. Cheers to Elon & Co. for having the huevos to challenge the notion of range anxiety. I really like the Model S. It's way out of my price range, but I hope there's something in the pipeline for me in the coming years.
Perhaps the Bimmer name change convention suggests that IT is the car that now "zigs".
I remember seeing that car but my parents never wanted to wait in the line for me to get inside. Upside was that my mom DID order me the KITT Kit.
