Not only is he a reliable hitmaker, his DCEU film was the most successful by a wide mile. Keep the man happy. Give him the reigns if you want to try to salvage the DCEU.

Blockers wasn't that good but Cena was hilarious in it. He's also great in Trainwreck and Sisters. Even Daddy's Home 2. The guy has some serious comedic chops.

I’ll have to give it a rewatch someday, but I felt like DOFP lost steam halfway, maybe 2/3 of the way through. But damn if the Quicksilver scene isn’t one of the coolest scenes in film history.
