Because of the upcoming Kinja-pocalypse I wanted to ask the wonderful commenting community what their favorite AV Club community moments are.

The whole Nick thing has pissed me off to a righteous degree. When this happened to people like Devin Faraci, JonTron, or Colin Moriarty, it felt like the cumulation of obvious statements being made for years. That these internet nerd bros who had created content that I enjoyed in the past turned out to be literal

Big Podcast week for the old VP.

I don’t know about you guys but this was the funniest episode of the whole season so far. Between the Mitchum’s conga line, a chintzy swan lake playing jungle gym complete with spotlight, arm wrestling gangsters, Cooper’s face plant into the door, the detectives Fusco basically saying fuck to the audience by dunking

This one didn't really do it for me. The conceit felt too much like a retread of Tiny Rick. The violence, while not usually an issue for me and frequently can be used to great comedic effect, felt superfluous and uninteresting after the first rat battle. And the conclusion reached feels like something the show has

The Okami/Zelda comparisons never made a ton of sense to me. I mean it makes sense because of superficial similarities.Yeah I get that you traverse a large world, explore specific areas focused on puzzles or fighting, and do sword like combat, but the way you engage with the games is so different.

Hey buddies! this weekend is the same as the last. So Spla2n and Pyre are on the menu.

Nothing here mentions how the spin off series Air Buddies has become an increasingly frightening parade of propagandistic christian films. Also the director of Seventh Inning Fetch also brought us the Most Valuable Primate series of animal sports entertainments.

Finally the greatest TP villain of all time returns. The ceiling fan.

"Save it for the Semantics Dome E. B. White"

The sports aspects of Pyre is quite good for a couple of reasons. The first is that the game ramps you into the different mechanics rather elegantly. It might make the game a little easy, but I prefer it over being frustrated by the controls and constantly losing at the start. It also plays more like an arcade game

Not to dunk on a movie not being discussed. But Spectre was so boring that the only time I perked up was when I saw Mads Mikklesn's face briefly pop up in the stupid maze at the end. What can I say I'm mad about Mads.

This weekend it’s all about Pyre and Spla2n baby.

I was having a blast with this game. Going on a hot streak with the Splat Duelies, loving every super soaked minute of multiplayer, and then my left joycon controller crapped out. I couldn't walk properly, my squid transformation wouldn't trigger properly, and my world was woe. So I need to get a new controller, but

I am so pumped for this game. Transistor, while not being a fantastic game in and of itself, was such a mesmerizing audio visual experience that I have to give this a try. It's also great for a sports RPG to come out, I feel like that's a genre ripe for exploration, but has basically gone the way of the dinosaur since

One question. Is the city of New York itself a character in this film? Thank you.

David stated that it's his favorite from Nolan, so it will be interesting how he parses it.

Another fantastic episode of Blank Check about The Prestige (my personal favorite Nolan movie). Allison was a great guest and it a fantastic balance of analysis and goofy digressions. So far this mini-series has been really good.

He turned the ship so the plane wouldn't shoot them directly. Tom Hardy's pilot at the same moment knocks out the German aircraft.

I really liked the Infamous games when they were initially released. I wonder how they hold up in both design and the context of a now superhero saturated culture.
