But in all seriousness, it was great commenting here. I only did it for the last 8 months, but everyone I spoke too was thoughtful enough to not be a total dirtbag. I'll miss the memes and the interesting conversations, heck I'll even miss the spam. It was wonderful knowing you dudes and I hope you keep on keeping on

AV Club Commentariat rides off into the sunset .

But in all seriousness TAZ might be one of the most singular experiences in the young medium of podcasting. It’s amazing to have a story that simultaneously is a complex world with a twisty plot, and a living thing that evolved with the characters. Yes there was no way the final act would be as exciting as the middle,

“Thus ends the Adventure Zone: Balance. The story of four idiots that played DnD so hard they made themselves cry.”

Also this might be the last review of the show before The AV Club switches to Kinja. So I want to say it’s been great talking to you guys about what may be the single strangest piece of long form television ever conceived. I want to also thank Emily for her reviews, which have been insightful and engaging despite the

Why the MC is the best character:
-Has introduced both “The” Nine Inch Nails and more importantly James Hurley.
-Has a Pine Cone on his microphone (micro-cone?).
-Has a homemade volume control. Half of which is above ten.
-Has a passion for ZZ Top.
-Dances like there is no tomorrow.

Also this is completely unrelated to anything. But I must share it with you guys. Here is the single most bizarre thing I have ever seen out of 80's Japan. It's an hour long film called the The Flying Luna Clipper and it was animated almost entirely on the MSX computer. And holy fuck does it go places.

Honestly it was always Nick's beautifully drawn features. A lot of places will do a comic about a game, but we were lucky enough to get full illustrated pages that evoked the sense of whatever the the thesis was in an image and couple of sentences. It's a staggering kind of article to make and I hope to see more in

Two off the top of the dome.

Before I get to those sweet games I want to extend a warmest thank you to the Gamelogical community. With the Kinja-pocalypse looming ever closer I wanted to say that this community is by far the most open hearted, thoughtful, and considerate group of gaming aficionados on the internet. This is the first place I ever

We'll need to set up some sort of special feed for The Adventure Zone finale this week. I can't believe it's going to end so soon.

Wilson! How many times have I told you! This is what we do in the FBI!!!!!

I feel like this entire endeavor has been in steady decline since episode 2 of Daredevil.

I like that the members that died on the second mission were rip offs of the side players from Suicide Squad.

I think there could be an interesting parallel drawn between the art direction and gameplay of Wind Waker and Okami, maybe something about how the cel-shading of both games caused a more engaged look into player interactions, but I can't formulate a great, witty and insightful comment about that this late at night.

This weekend will be wrapping up Hellblade

I sometimes wonder what kind of alternate film universe we might have entered if Jackie Brown was more warmly received on it's release. A pathway towards a more thoughtful, but no less stylish, realm of filmmaking for Tarantino. It's also, for me, his best work. People frequently talk about how well he does

Yeah I can't think of another gaming website, despite the quality of their writing, that had quite as polite and engaged commentariat.

Do you know what article that's from. I started commenting here way after that meme became set.

If only that power remained.
