The keyboard break in Roundabout by Yes.

Well I was going to squid down with Spla2n this weekend, Amazon decided to push back my pre-order to Monday. So next week will be squid/kid week.

Sunshine is easily the weakest of the 3D Mario games, but it deserves credit for some neat things that it does. My personal favorites is how it visually connects the world together while in different levels. It's cool that you can see Corona Beach from the amusement park, and the other way around. It creates a sense

I will be so sad when this arc of the Aventire Zone is over and the most recent episode only confirmed it.

Well there's always the chance for a comeback.

Squid Squid baby it’s time for a Spla2n pre-launch splatfest, and I am very excited. This is the first time I can finally play this game with my friends since they picked up Switches. The first Splatoon is one of my favorite games, and surprise communities, of the last generation, and I am pumped to get my hands on

I still think from the PS1 platform era that the pyro games are much more interesting. They have tighter controls and a unique progression system that made it stand out from the Mario/Sonic mascot platformer.

Honestly unpredictability has never been why I've returned to GoT. I read the books just before the show started, and while I have no paper loyalty, it has taken most of the surprise wind out of the sails.

Sparks' Angst in My Pants among the rest of their catalogue. Sparks is such a weird and wonderful group. A musical act whose disparate parts somehow forge together into a wacky, and catchy, whole. Never demonstrated better than by the song mustache, which in my estimation is about as perfect a pop song as possible.

I have this weird obsession of just reciting the title of the new Apes' movies over and over. There is something just something so rhythmic about muttering "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" to the displeasure of those around me.

Who?

Honestly I wouldn't be able to tell you the difference between other tabletop RPG podcasts. I started listening to this because of my loyalty to the McElroy family of podcasts. But it's very engaging to newcomers and also quite funny.

So I'm all caught up with the Adventure Zone, and I have to say this is one of the most stunning achievements of the form. It's not always perfect, but it pulls something off that couldn't happen in any other medium. It combines the longform storytelling of television with the cozy lovable riffing of the podcast form.

I know it's a common refrain at this point, but the DC animated series from Batman to Justice League are the best comic adaptations made. Each show absolutely nails the tone, pays respect to the source while changing when necessary, and has a thoughtful and well managed understanding of the characters and their place

I think that the issue with making a new teen movie is that people are so quick to jump in on the bullshit train when it comes to adolescent experiences. So if something doesn't meet expectations or leans another direction people will claim the whole affair is disingenuous or pandering or unrealistic. Personally I

I would be lying if I said Splatoon isn't the best summer game out there, and I can't wait to slip this chip in and go Off the Hook. It will be interesting to see if the pre-release Splatfest will draw in more people.

I love that you get to hear the tortured screams of link at each point you died. Reminds me of the good times.

Didn't get around to a lot this week due to the Holiday and (da da da daaaa!) a brand new job at the most exciting business in a 100 hundred mile radius. I hope that my work there will be available for you guys to see soon.

BSS always stood out to me as one of the best of the mid 00's indie rock boom. They have an infectious spirit, and a sense of ragged collectivism that holds everything together. I can't wait to spin this disk.

It's been getting pretty good buzz, but I wonder how Crash plays now. I never touched the originals and the most exposure I've had with them has to be from Uncharted 4. My biggest question is platforming towards the camera fun? The world may never know.
