A well placed Toll road is fine with me but I don’t want it to be the ONLY option for travel. DFW has the George Bush Turnpike. It is a gorgeous and fast road. Traffic flows at 85-90mph. I love it. I’ve taken it once to see how it was. I was in San Antonio and going back to Austin after a thoroughly depressing 3 hours at the San Antonio riverwalk (but a great drive down on 2 lane backroads the whole way from Austin!)
