Ugh, yes. My shitty cousins visit once and it's amazing. I'm at the home where my nana is placed minimum once a week " you don't visit enough".
Very little chapped my jimmies more than people using school computers (with software licenses that I needed to use—SketchUp, ESRI suite etc) to dick around on facebook/tumblr/twitter when myself and others were chomping at the bit to get work done on 'em. Also, people fucking around in class.
Never mind the POC being used as props....shaking my head.
Hahah, saw them back in November! SO SO SO GOOD!
Maybe? Finally saw em two weeks ago and they were uhh-mazing
Yeah, the advertising WHY she sold the tickets was douchey. My parents made me give Billy Talent tickets away as a punishment about 8 years ago.
That is amazing. Hats off to you!
The one actually said verbatim that she didn't like reading cause it was boring.
None of the so it goes havers I know have read the book. Ditto the one "everything was beautiful and nothing hurt". " I like the way it sounds" doesn't cut it.
There's sheltering, and then there's appropriate use. That is not it.
My question is why are they allowing a 13 year old to use an internet enabled device unsupervised AND behind closed doors?
That's a thing from How I met your Mother...it's called " The naked man"
So are we talking just horrific noise, or was there a cillia-burning odour accompanying?
Seriously? I resent my preferred term for my people being compared to a fried food. We've expressed time and again that it is our preferred term for ourselves, particularly in BC. While it's "technically correct", no-one here uses it. I'm sure you're actually a very nice person, but your posts right here sound kind of…
Heads up—In BC most of us prefer to be called First Nations, Indigenous or by our band name. Example: Basscoast is in Merritt this year, which is Nicola First Nations territory.
Wait what? I use the phrase " I identify as Jewish" all the time. Similarly, Christian/Muslim/Buddhist/Pastafari folks in my life use "I identify as..." pretty commonly.
Agreed. Mum is the child of very, very poor immigrants and the youngest of seven. "Something else to eat" was breakfast the next day.
Allllll the time. At work I get kids who will rip apart my till, run behind and try to look in the till cabinet, ask me for stickers and touch everything. Some parents get fucking MAD when you say "Please don't touch that" "Look with your eyes" " This is my space, not yours" etc.
There's a difference between "don't actually like them" and "unwilling to put up with their crap"
