Seriously? I resent my preferred term for my people being compared to a fried food. We've expressed time and again that it is our preferred term for ourselves, particularly in BC. Heads up—In BC most of us prefer to be called First Nations, Indigenous or by our band name. Example: Basscoast is in Merritt this year, which is Nicola First Nations territory.

Allllll the time. At work I get kids who will rip apart my till, run behind and try to look in the till cabinet, ask me for stickers and touch everything. Some parents get fucking MAD when you say "Please don't touch that" "Look with your eyes" " This is my space, not yours" etc.
