Air Canada is the worst for a "not our problem" attitude, hands down. If you get bumped from flights and need accommodation you are fucked. If you look young you are fucked.
They're just doing this because Air Canada has a reputation for being unfriendly with the crabbiest staff known to man. Westjet is miles better across the board.

BC Liquor Control staff have no sense of leeway. Either you're 19 or you're not, kinda thing. I don't see how it could ever be interpreted as discriminatory, babies are not adults...bars are established spaces for adults.
If nothing else, they put my boss' livelihood on the line. Once you loose your liquor license it's near impossible to get it back.
Depending on where you are it's also illegal. Where I work it's 19+ no exceptions— I routinely have to ask families to leave when they walk in with kids (it's a pub).
