People of the world: SPICE UP YOUR LIFE!

Three hours and one border north of Seattle. BC!

I just finished Her Fearful Symmetry by Audrey Niefflenegger. It's the only modern ghost story I've really enjoyed.

I am beyond sore...I'll never make fun of curling again. It's WAY harder than it looks.

And the my-yoga-teacher-knows-more-than-my-gp-so I-take-her-advice sanctimommies

Read my mind. Some bullshit about state autonomy, probably. "Don't tread on me" etc.

The other way around, methinks...

Agreed, one liner or half a skincare thing

True, but a 20$ gift card wouldn't go far.

Eh, fuck BBB. Lush or Keihl's please.

Yes and no. If you have Crohn's or Colitis it's painful either way, but for people with functional guts the fiber from fruit and veg is definitely preferable.

There's no cut off age, but the clinic I volunteer at would 'encourage dialogue' before starting anything with someone younger than 13 unless there was concern for her safety.

I dunno how they'd make a cipralex commercial with me in it, maybe: " Well you won't be able to sleep or drink coffee...but at least you won't be anxious or suicidal"

Oh god, Victoria's the worst for that. If you don't have 5+ years exp. or a master's and the BC government isn't hiring you're fucked. I graduate in December and I have no plans to apply for jobs in Victoria...

Yeah, some do a better job than others for sure.

Often the shelter will have staff (like my mom) who the cops call to pick the individual and often their kids up, because they don't publicize the address and phone number of the transition house.

They're usual jeans, t and hat or some combination thereof.

Posted this in groupthink, but what does one wear to an interview at a (non co-op) bike shop?

21 is about the age when all bets are off, so it's not *as* big a deal. Also, you've got similar goals so that is a big difference.

Exactly. Who am I to judge her experience?
